Naga and Dazzle Combo

Currently Teams like infernity and quantic played a Naga and Dazzle combo involving both Heroes Ultimate as a main combo in a huge teamfight. Today lets look into the effectiveness of this strategy in today's metagame.

Together, Naga and Dazzle have many different combos they can pull out which mainly involves dealing physical damage to their targets. Here are some examples.


1) Shadow Wave + Illusions + Ensnare

Simple and quite similar to Shadow Demon+ Shadow Priest's Disruption and Shadow Wave combo. It involves getting as many units together and casting Shadow wave. Since shadow wave is like a multiple unit Purification, it will deal massive amounts of damage to the ensnared target which give you time to walk up to him and cast spells. At level 2 with a level 1 shadow wave it can del 240 physical damage and at max level deal a massive 700 physical damage. This is further supported by Riptide and Weaver's armour reduction.

2) Song of Siren + Weave

Yes. Weave can stack while asleep. If you Weave just before Song of Siren has been cast and follow up with a Riptide its a total of a negative 12 armour before anything had actually happened. The enemy team will now be extremely vulnerable go Physical Attacks. Couple this combo with Heroes that hit multiple units such as Gyro and Luna, you will see enemy losing so much HP per hit.

3) Physical Damage

Together with their negative armour debuffs, they also have spells that deal large physical damage such as Riptide and Poison Touch as well as Shadow Wave.

4) Song + Grave

Both skills can be used to sv teammates from getting killed and serve as a backup plan to each other. Most heroes while ganking naga will try to burst her down before she can cast her Ultimate but with Shallow Grave it makes it ultimately more difficult to kill her as the moment Grave wears off she will SING THE SONG OF HER PEOPLE.

This combo also works well with Warlock's Upheaval and Undying Tombstone as they can stack slows which is deadly with the negative armour they have. Its good to know that this combo could be countered by Pugna's Decrepify or Ghost Scepter since Ensare can be blocked by Ethereal form.

Ultimately, this is new and upcoming combo we can hope to see more teams play instead of Nature's Profit and Naix , Magnus and THD etc etc. Some new metagame will be nice.
